This fund was created by PNW Family Explorers in effort to connect families with each other in our natural elements.  

We want families to come together and get outside to explore.  There is a new conversation happening right now that discusses the concept of getting kids outside.  Adults are saying “when I was a kid I play outside”.  During that conversation technology without fail always comes up as well.  As a family we have made a commitment to living a more balanced life.  We appreciate all that technology has to offer, but value our time as a family.  This means we create moments throughout the week to connect and as much as we can we get outside for an outdoor adventure. 

At the Adventure Fund we want to provide inspiration, education, research and support for families.  It is our goal to encourage more outdoor exploration as a family.  We think it’s important for all of us to reconnect to our childhood ways of playing outside for a happier more balanced life.
